2008 Competition: Piano

The Hugo Kauder Society is pleased to announce the winners in its Fourth Annual International Music Competition, this year for pianists.

From the many pianists from around the world, 35 years and under, who competed in the recorded round in April, nine finalists were selected to compete live in New Haven.

From these finalists, the following winners were chosen:

Prizes

First prize: $4000 and NYC performance opportunity
Second prize: $2000
Third prize: $1000.

Winners will also perform in the Winners Concert. All finalists will receive a recording of their performance.
